Comment: Grey Kangaroo buck (male), often used loosely for the female; cf guranggar, or generically for any species of kangaroo; plural gurumanmir 'a flock of grey kangaroos' Gd.; cf. mani; guruhman more common than guruman, however one at least of the Kombumerri group (Cyril Williams) knows guruman. In general guruman is southern form (when not replaced by mani); initial sound [gh, k, g]. See also mani.
